GLORIA NEVES
Gloria has been practising yoga for 20 years now. It wasn’t until 2019 that she decided to go deeper in her knowledge about Yoga, integrating a 200-hour Teacher Training course. It was the beginning of a new career journey. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and besides being a professional Interpreter and Translator - Portuguese/English she co-runs the MeditYoga business teaching philosophy-informed practices, incorporating Breathing/ Pranayama, Mindful somatic movements and Hatha-inspired flows. In 2024, she completed a certification for Trauma-informed yoga Teacher training. In addition to this recent training, she took a neuroscience-based course with The Minded Institute to embrace the complexities of Mental Health conditions more fully.

KAINARA MOTTA
Kainara started her yoga practice in 1998 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After the pandemic, she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and a pregnancy yoga teacher certification program, both accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals, in the UK. She has great insteresting in the Yoga Philosophy, including the Sutras of Patanjali, the subtle energies of the Chakras, the Bhagavad Gita, and is currently studing Yoga Therapy. In addition to offering asanas, meditation and breathwork at MeditYoga classes, she is also teacher for the Insight Timer and Aura Health apps. Kainara can be found conducting talks, guided meditations, and yoga classes at different venues in Newcastle and Gateshead areas. Her previous experiences include holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a specialization in Coaching and Mentoring, and a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior.
